I can truly see how spiritual America is these days. Even if a bit agnostic. We practice gratitude, mindfulness and often send good vibes and thoughts to those in need. We are in awe of the universe as well as our planet, the Mother Earth where we live. We embrace almost every form of non-traditional spiritual practice. We can find meaning and trust in the universe.
What isn’t well known or expressed is that all of these things are by, through, for and from God. This God who seems to be unknown because there hasn’t been much teaching that shows just how expansive our Creator is. There is but One God and it is impossible to have actual other Gods for they are not a reality.
God is not insecure. God desires to be known in your mindfulness as God is the eternal now, the present moment, the Presence.
God receives your gratitude as the ultimate source of every good gift. God hears the prayers in your good vibes and thoughts as they are an act of love and God is love.
God gave us our Mother Earth and hopes we will learn to steward her and feels your angst as you recognize the creation being taken for granted. All truth is truth and God is not limited in how truth is revealed. If you find the divine anywhere or within, it is God‘s gift as the Spirit has been poured out on all flesh. Any divinity within you came from and will return to its source. As you know when darkness comes, you are not the Source. You are created from stardust. The ever expanding universe is an expression of the ever expanding love of God. A love that cannot be contained on this planet alone.
You are a beautifully weak creature with so much knowledge and potential.
This humanity was forever joined together with divine in the zenith of evolution in the person of Jesus Christ. A man in time and space who spoke dignity into humanity and has been the wellspring of every good thing to ever happen.
This unknown spirituality has a name that has been betrayed by all of his followers. He understands the evils of hypocrisy and violence and the finding of the scapegoat intimately. This One shows love in numerous practical and impractical ways and calls us to love the same.
This One takes upon himself all that is wrong in the world past, present and future. This One understands our angst at the problem of evil. This One recognizes all the power of evil is an illusion even when the pain it causes is real. This One has overcome the world.
This One will show you the Truth and the Way and the Life because apart from God is nothingness.
This One knows and cherishes you. This One has kept every tear you have shed. This One grieves with you and celebrates with you.
This One is far more than we could ever imagine or fathom.
My descriptions are beyond inadequate. My descriptions are my experience of the One who knows me. The One who died and was raised to life and never sought vengeance but rather to change the world by love. This One knows you and what you need.
If you never step foot in a church (and there are some to be avoided) it makes no difference. I will guarantee you this; if you seek the One you will find, chances are you already have.
